Class Descriptions

Combo Classes | Tap & Ballet combo classes. Acro for Ages 2-5. Ages 2-9 have one Revue Dance. If you would like your child to be in multiple numbers, consider additional classes offered for their age group.

Style & Style Gym | These classes are for our competitive competition team. Try outs for our competition team are held in January. Anyone who makes this team will be required to take our Ballet Class & Style classes. Style gym is optional. If you are thinking about trying out for the competition team, your child takes ballet starting in September to prepare. They are also welcome to take the style class in for additional prep.

Strength & Conditioning | A full body workout using different combinations of exercises to improve dance performance and develop more strength, power, endurance, and flexibility.

Beginner Jazz | Introducing the newest class to HHSD an intro to jazz/contemporary with a focus on technique & dance rhythm. It's for any 4-7 year olds who are interested in furthering their dance training and/or prepping to try out for our Style Competition Team. We will focus on their technique, choreography retention, and a variety of dance styles for a fun and exciting 60 minutes.

FEES

REGISTRATION FEE: Paid at the time of registration along with the first months tuition.

Former Students $40.00 (Each additional Family Member $25)

New Students $50.00 (2nd Student $30, 3rd Student $20)

TUITION: Tuition is due on a monthly basis (September - June) and is payable between the 1st-7th of each month, regardless of absences and holidays. June Tuition is prorated and due in May.

Style Class - $30.00 & Style Gymnastics - $25.00

Late Fee - $20.00 *Tuition is due on the 1st-7th of every month, a late fee will be applied on the 8th to any unpaid tuition.*

REVUE FEE: Due April 1st - Late fees will be applied May 1st

COSTUMES: Costumes will be ordered and payment due December 7th -10th.

Late fees will be applied January 11th.

STUDIO INFO

WAITING AREA | Parents and Friends who stay must do so in the waiting area. No students except assistant teachers and demonstrators will be allowed into the dance rooms until class time. Those parents who drop off must be on time for pick up. If you are late for any reason, students should come back into the studio. No student should wait outside for their ride.
OBSERVATION | The Window is open for class observation on the 2nd lesson in February.
SCHEDULED HOLIDAYS | Thanksgiving Week, Christmas Holidays, Mardi Gras Week, Easter Week & Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We try to follow school holiday schedule when possible.
INCLEMENT WEATHER | When weather conditions close schools the studio will be closed. If in doubt, check our social media or give us a call.
ABSENCES | Eight or more absences forfeits credit for the present fiscal year, beginning the first lesson of September through the last lesson before the revue.
Water bottles & food are not allowed in the dance rooms. Please leave in the waiting room during class time. Our younger dancers should leave bottles, water bottles & snacks with their parent or guardian.
